The Mac Mini – Perfection
Everyone’s going crazy around the new Apple Mac Mini and who can blame them?
Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not a Mac lover (or a hater). I like cheap, high quality products that don’t have reams of features. I’m also a minimalist, and being a poor student means I can’t afford the premium attached to super small form factor devices such as shuttle PCs and iPods (and that tends to piss me off).
The Mac Mini, however, is super cheap for what it is. It has all the features I need for a desktop computer and it’s FUCKING TINY! An equivalent shuttle would cost about the same, wouldn’t come packed with the prettiest Unix based OS in existence, or be quite as small. Well done Apple, you’ll have another user as soon as I can scrape the cash together.

by filburt @ 2005-01-17 2159 UTCYeah I wrote this comment, and then wordpress complained that I didn’t fill out the email field and when I hit back it was gone and now I can’t be assed rewriting it, so I’ll just bitch about what happened to me while writing the comment previously, because rewriting the comment would take too long because it was like a whole four lines or some shit.
Oh yeah it was about how OS X sucks.

by Yorrike @ 2005-01-18 0146 UTCI dunno. I’d only be using it for browsing the Web, web development, listening to my music, watching Zim and doing some graphics. All of which OS X is good at.
Or so I’ve heard.
