I’m one week away from the first of this year’s exams at university. I hate exams.

I hate them because everyone crams for them, which causes stress. I hate them because as soon as you’ve finished, you forget most of what you’ve crammed, and it’s because of this I have a hatred for them as they are not indicative of knowledge for most people.

I know for a fact that during my geology career (which I’m now set on), at no point will I be required to write solidly without access to reference material or other useful resources for 2 hours, without the possibility of a break or even the possibility to stand up and stretch.

Exams are stupid and I hate them.

…..I better get to studying.
