OS suck/rock -o-meter

by Yorrike @ 1213 UTC, in

I noticed this over at Boing Boing. It’s the operating sytem suck/rock meter. A poll is taken on Alta Vista of the number of times an operating system’s name is affixed with the word “sucks” or “rocks”/”rules”, the resulted are collated and charted. Good to see Linux (my OS of choice, Linux rocks), only sucks half as much as Windows (as Windows sucks), but rocks twice as much as it sucks (because Linux rocks). But what is stagering is the tiny number of OS X entries, since there’s a huge community of Mac fanboys out there, you’d expect a stronger showing.

But oh well. Linux rocks, Windows sucks. : )
